The CEO of NVIDIA integrates AI into his daily routine in ways that go beyond simply asking questions and receiving answers.
Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA—whose company recently surpassed a $4 trillion market valuation—shared his unique approach to using artificial intelligence in an interview with CNN. He explained that, just as a patient might consult several doctors for a diagnosis, he uses multiple AI models to get answers, even encouraging them to critique each other’s responses.
Speaking on the GPS program hosted by Fareed Zakaria, Huang said, “When I get an answer from AI, I don’t just accept it. I usually ask: Are you sure this is the best answer you can give?” He emphasized that his method is similar to gathering multiple medical opinions—he asks various AI models to compare their answers and provide the most accurate result.
Huang also mentioned at the Milken Institute Global Conference that he uses AI every day as a private tutor. When learning new topics, he first asks the models to explain concepts in a simplified way—like they would to a 12-year-old—and then gradually increases the depth of information to a Ph.D. level.
According to Business Insider, Huang is not the only top executive incorporating AI into daily work. Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft, also revealed in an interview that he uses Copilot tools to summarize emails and prepare for meetings.
Huang’s comments came in response to Zakaria’s concern about the potential negative impact of AI on human cognitive skills. Although Huang was unaware of MIT’s research on the topic, he stated that, contrary to such concerns, his daily use of AI has actually improved his cognitive abilities. “In order to interact with AI,” he said, “you have to ask good questions—and that requires thinking, analysis, and reasoning.”
