DuckDuckGo’s New Update: Filtering AI-Generated Images

Some internet users have expressed dissatisfaction with AI-generated images appearing in their search results. DuckDuckGo’s new browser update has largely addressed this issue.

According to the update details, users can now filter AI-generated images in the DuckDuckGo browser. A new section called AI Images has been added to the search results, where selecting the Hide option will remove AI-generated pictures.

The new DuckDuckGo filter, implemented with the help of the uBlockOrigin extension and other methods, filters out AI-generated images. While this filter cannot detect and hide all such images yet, it significantly reduces their number.

As AI-generated content continues to grow rapidly, adding such a filter to DuckDuckGo is good news for users who prefer authentic, real images. DuckDuckGo officials say they are working on developing additional filters.
