Samsung’s artificial intelligence capabilities are set to expand to 400 million smart devices by the end of 2025.
The company has announced plans to integrate Galaxy AI into 400 million of its devices by the end of this year — a target that doubles its 2024 goal.
TM Roh, head of Samsung’s mobile division, confirmed during a press conference that the expansion of AI features began after the overwhelming response to their release in the Galaxy S24 series.
The Galaxy Tab S11 series and Galaxy S25 FE are expected to come equipped with AI capabilities. Mid-range smartphones like the Galaxy A56 are already running a lighter version of Galaxy AI.
Samsung says all of its AI features will remain free through the end of 2025. However, it’s possible that some advanced tools introduced with the Galaxy S26 series and beyond may require payment.
The latest version of Galaxy AI, based on One UI 8 and Android 16, includes tools for photo editing and real-time translation.
